The Lakes

A documentation of the English Lake District, exploring place, hospitality and the quieter moments in between.

The journey

Beginning and ending in Windermere, the journey followed roads through Ambleside, Rydal, Grasmere, Keswick and Ullswater, with Kthe irkstone Pass offering one of the region's most recognisable routes.

Weather that rarely settles. Rain that gives way to sunshine. Low cloud lifts to reveal open water. A landscape changing constantly, rarely looking the same twice.

Cafés, coastlines, passing conversations and quiet moments become as much a part of the documentation as the landscapes themselves. A familiar view of Britain, observed without interruption.

Objects
& Ephemera

Created as the first physical pieces surrounding Celia, the printed materials and presentation objects extended the carriage beyond the interior itself.

Across emblem development, printed ephemera and presentation pieces, the collection introduced the wider identity surrounding the carriage through texture, detailing and theatrical restraint.
